We arrived in San Jose, Costa Rica yesterday afternoon. Thank you to all of you who have been praying for us while we were packing and preparing to leave. God's hand was over us as we traveled. For all of you that were praying for us, we have to share this story with you, because prayer works. Once we landed in San Jose, we gathered the kids and headed straight for immigration with no proble

ms. Actually, KyAnna was still sleeping from the plane in her car seat, so we just took her off the plane and put her and her car seat into the stroller. The picture of her was taken at the immigration counter, where she just slept her way through. Then, we headed to baggage claim to retrieve our luggage. When we got to baggage claim, it felt like every other piece of luggage was ours. We had 15 regular checked items and 13 carry-ons that they checked in at the gate for us because we were moving. We began to pull our boxes, trunks and suitcases and quickly realized there was no possible way we would ever make it through customs by ourselves. By the time we would have carried them all to the check point, got each piece scanned, each box searched and paid the duties of their choosing, we could have easily been there all afternoon. So, I quickly went to an airport em

ployee and asked if he could help us. 5 minutes later he had packed all 28 items onto 2 huge moving carts. He and I pushed the carts to the check point and Kendra brought the kids behind us. Once we got there, he nodded at a few customs agents and through the check point we went, bypassing all the steps to clear customs. Not a question asked, not a box opened, not a duty paid. We just walked outside to our waiting party and the gentleman even unpacked our carts and loaded our taxi bus. What a blessing, thank you for praying!
