March 23rd we returned home from Springfield, MO where we attended Candidate Missionary Orientation. This was an intense 10 day orientation where we learned about the policies and procedures on Missions. We also had interviews with the Regional Director of Latin America and the AGWM Executive Committee. We had the opportunity to share with them our heart and the call God has placed on our lives for full time missionary appointment. It was a wonderful opportunity and we gained information that will be valuable to us over the next year during itineration. Now, with much anticipation, we will wait until the World Missions Board meets on April 11th for final approval. Upon approval we will start to book Missions services which will begin Sunday, May 20th and will continue until 100% of our budget is raised. In April 2007, we began our journey in missions after youth pastoring in the states for 8 amazing years. Our desire in Nicaragua is to reach in and help the poor, the hungry, the hurting and the hopeless by doing children and youth outreaches, food distribution and using every other available means to share the gospel. Our greatest desire is to share the hope and love of Jesus with those who may otherwise not know.
