Favor of God

Over the last few days we have been blessed by the favor of God. The Lord's hand has clearly been over our family and all the logistics.

We were able to find a house the day after we arrived in the country and signed the contract the following day. The owners of the house are wonderful Nicaraguans and live on the same property. We look forward to building friendships with them over the next few years. The house we are going to rent will not be ready until January the 4th as it has some work that needs to be done before we will be able to move in. The kids are excited because there are 3 dogs, roosters, chickens, geese, ducks and turkey's on the property as well as lots of Mango trees to climb.

We have found a small bilingual school for the kids to attend and got them registered for the school year which begins February 9th. Kaden (7) took his entrance exam this week and did excellent. He and Kaleb (5) will both be attending the same school which is very close to where we will be living. Please pray for our boys. They will be the only foreigners in the school and the school does not have the types of resources our schools in the states do. The picture of Kaden, is just after he finished his entrance exam.

We found a wonderful 4x4 vehicle and put down a deposit thanks to speed-the-light. We will be able to purchase the vehicle on Jan. 17th with funds that the youth of Michigan have raised. We love you Michigan!!!

Please pray for us as our container of household goods will arrive at port tonight and tomorrow the paperwork process begins. We hear it could take anywhere from 10 days to more than a month to clear the container through customs and with Christmas being next week maybe even longer. We have been told that things are ALWAYS missing from containers by the time they clear customs. God has opened doors, protected us and made a way many times the last few days when it didn't seem possible. We are believing God to give us favor to clear this container quickly and protect the belongings inside. Please pray with us.
