They call it "Fast Track" I call it a huge blessing and a true miracle. During the process of becoming a missionary, we heard the stories: "It will take you 8 phone calls per church just to speak with the pastor. It will take around 100 phone calls to book a single service. It will take you you 15 -18 months of itineration to raise your budget.......oh, what's that...you're from Michigan....well...God bless you with their economy." That's exactly what He did!Wednesday night at the World Missions service for the Michigan District Council, God continued to show me how amazing and faithful He really is. I knew that our family was going to be spot-lighted in the service and be introduced as the new missionary candidates in our district this year. I didn't know that God had arranged for Randy Valimont to bring a challenging and anointed message that would open obedient hearts. God's children responded to the challenge and raised 55% of our monthly commitments and 19% of our cash budget in one night!!! On top of that, our youth group surprised us with being the first to sow into our ministry with the teens giving close to a thousand dollars themselves!
We are so thankful and grateful for the men and women that are allowing us to partner with them and their vision for missions. I have a new fear of God in my life then ever before because I see now, more then ever, the hand of God on our family's life and ministry 'for such a time as this.'
