Believing For Many Miracles

This past fall, while in Nicaragua, God confirmed the call and burden He had placed on our lives to reach their young people. While we were there, we had the opportunity to go to a Christian Orphanage where we were introduced to an incredible child of God. We held a beautiful baby girl that was found in a trash heap in Leon, a large city about two hours from Managua. She was found wrapped in a black plastic trash bag with rope tied around her, she was left to die.

By the grace of God someone heard her crying and opened the bag. This precious child was suffering from severe malnutrition and was being eaten by bugs. After her hospitalization, there was no where for her to go. Praise God for a Christian Orphanage where missionaries Tim & Chris Bagwell have taken her in, love her, care for her and will find her a safe and loving family. Today she is thriving, laughing and smiling, when just a few months ago there was little hope she would live.

No one knows where she came from or why she was left to die, but we believe God has a great plan for her life because He saved her from such a horrible situation. The missionaries at the orphanage named her ‘Milagro’ which means miracle in Spanish, and that is what she is.

There are other miracles ready to take place in Nicaragua, a country where 50% of their nearly 6 million people are under the age of 15. We are believing for miracles in young people that have been abandoned physically and spiritually and live life with no hope. There are more miracles to come because we serve an Almighty God that has an incredible plan for every child in Nicaragua.
