In Nicaragua we face many challenges in ministering to the young people and trusting God to raise up a changed generation. We are believing God to touch the hearts of young people and that with the life they have been given they will rise above their poverty and devastating circumstances to see their fellow Nicaraguans touched and changed. How can we assist the local churches in reaching a generation that so many just push to the side as worthless? How can we help the mountain families, when they willingly sell their daughters to the sex trade, so they can receive $7.50? How can we show this culture that they are truly special and that they do have a purpose other then just surviving? How do you fight such great huger?
We know that it is by the power of His name and by reaching out to them one young person at a time. We believe it’s being Jesus with skin on and coming along side them to serve, love, feed, cloth and disciple them. We believe it will take more than a hand raised for salvation...it’s walking beside them and making a difference one young person at a time. We are believing God for a Changed Generation in Nicaragua!
