This week our Engage Team headed to Granada for a week long Intense Spanish Immersion program. They stayed with a local Nicaraguan family and have to complete 20 hours of course work with their Spanish teachers and 20 hours participating in cultural activities. You can already tell they have such a love for the culture and language. I must say they are quite literally "engaging" into the culture as they were playing soccer barefoot in the streets with the local kids. Please pray for each of them because it is never easy adjusting to a new culture, a hotter climate and different language all at once. We are really excited about the ministry opportunities and relationship that will stem from their time studying in Granada.
